Wii game review: Arc Rise Fantasia

This weekend I started to play a really exciting Wii game: Arc Rise Fantasia.

The game is a very traditional JRPG, including the fact that the main character wears red clothes. :) Battle mechanics are a mix of turns and strategy games, i.e., you may be the first to act but if you’re a knight you still have to approach your enemy to deliver an attack, and during this time a mage may have time to cast a quick spell to hurt you.

The story is about a legionnaire called L’Arc (L’Arc Bright Lagoon). His personal motivation is very simple: earn money (spoiler: to cure his sick mother). In order to accomplish that he started to work as mercenary. After a fight with a Feldragon, he ends by meeting a girl called Ryfia and the adventures begin.

Speaking more about the game mechanics, I found that the missions side-quest and the abilities attached to weapons keeps the character evolution process very interesting.

By this moment, I played for about 10 hours and can’t say more about the game, but my first opinion is that Arc Rise Fantasia is a great RPG for Wii owners. Get a copy if you have a chance, you won’t regret it. :)

World Cup Fever

As you may know, I live in Brazil. And as you probably know, Brazil is the soccer country. And as a soccer fan, I couldn’t let the World Cup end without making any comments here.

I think what is really interesting here in Brazil is how people were affected with events like that. During this period, it’s very commom to see people wearing yellow shirts, putting flags on their cars and many other fan stuff.

It’s a pitty that the world cup lasts only one month. I’d really love to see this felling more often. :)

Life as a married guy

Wow, time flies! It’s about two weeks since I got married. Fortunately, I haven’t noticed many changes in my life.

One thing that is really important is that our apartment is finally complete! We finally have a wardrobe. :) No more clothes over the bed or over the furniture!

These last two weeks were very busy for me… but I promise to write more regularly from now on, at least once per week. ;)

And if you want to see some photos, take a look here.

See you!

Weeding Party

I’m not sure if I can call this a weeding party because it actually happened before weeding. :) Well, no problem, let’s assume that as a valid name and go on.

This weekend, in Salto (a Brazilian city), happened my weeding party. Everything went very well and I could see many of my relatives and some of the friends that I met in Salto, in the first years of my life.

It wasn’t a big party but we’d a lot a food! :) (this is very important)

Here you can see the pictures.

And if you’re asking yourself who I am going to marry… here is the answer.

That’s it. Next weekend I’ll get married. I really excited for this to happen! :)

And a new journey begins…

I start this blog without any specific goal in my mind. I believe it’ll work only as a place where I can share my thoughts and try to improve my English. So if you see some errors around, don’t be afraid to correct me using the comments form below each post.

So, at least for now, please don’t expect to find anything really useful around here. :)

And… while I was writing this text I remembered what motivated me to create this blog (in English). Like the title suggests, a new journey in my life has just begun and a new blog would be something perfect to celebrate that.

Well then, CHEERS! :)
